The crow, what a great graphic novel. One of the best one's I have read. Also one of the great definition of the word despair. Don't you think ? I do in my opinion. This book is sad, how Eric lost his wife and how he shows how much he really and truly loved her.
He shows this from his memories witch is pretty much all he has of Shelly. Also from how he cry's for her, kills for her. looked for that ring. Also he seeks revenge. There is nothing good coming about of that. Eric tho feels like he has to bring justice and make all the people involved feel the same pain he felt. He do know that this will not bring him what he truly desires but he feels as if he need to. He also keeps his house a mess, he cuts himself, he puts make up almost as if he is forced to smile because of it. His eye liner as if he been crying and it was spelling but its not. How he talks to people as if he just a cold nothing.
In the images before and after those flash backs of him and Shelly I've noticed that before he remebers, he has this face where you look and it shows sad and worriedness. Then after the memorie he starts to get mad and start to cry and he cant do nothing to get her back.
Eric has nothing to live for and he knows it. Despair is an amazing word for this graphic novel. Lost all hope and life witch pretty much describes Eric and his whole point in the book.

Good start, but really needed more detail, such as explicit references to the text and the visuals.
